Massage therapy

Massage produces a therapeutic response in the body’s soft tissues. It can alleviate discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stress, overuse of muscles, chronic pain, especially in the back, neck and shoulders, sprains or strains, headaches, tendonitis, muscle spasms, arthritis and sports injuries.

Aromatherapy massage

An ancient art that harnesses the unique therapeutic powers of essential oils, aromatherapy massage is a powerful healing treatment. It is relaxing and restorative, combining the soothing power of scents and the healing benefits of touch.

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage, also described as passive yoga therapy, is a unique healing method based on yoga, meditation and acupressure.

Thai Yoga Massage is performed while the recipient remains fully clothed, lying on a special futon on the floor. The therapist guides the recipient through a series of yoga-like postures while running palms and thumbs along  the body’s energy lines and pressure points. The therapist works gently, reaching the limits of the stretch slowly with each movement following into next. The practitioner will also apply deep, yet gentle pressure with elbows, knees and feet.  These actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment.

Thai Yoga Massage is a safe and gentle therapy that can be beneficial for all ages and helpful for most conditions. The therapist will modify treatments to accommodate individual needs.

By stimulating reflex points on the feet, reflexology helps to rejuvenate mental, emotional and physical health. These points are connected to specific organs, systems and other areas of the body. When manipulated, they stimulate the circulatory and nervous systems, encouraging the release of tension, the reduction of stress and the creation of a heightened sense of well-being.
